ECIV 306 - Construction Engineering3 credits (Hrs. 3 Lec) This course is designed to provide students with a fundamental understanding of construction engineering. Students will learn the basics of construction methods, interpreting design details and specifications, construction contracts, bidding, estimation, construction specifications, planning and scheduling, construction safety, operation costs, procurement methods, project operation and management, and administration and controls.
Prerequisite(s): Junior standing in Civil Engineering or Construction Management major, or consent of instructor. Course generally offered during spring semester.
