NRSG 415 - Nursing Care of the Childbearing Family

4 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec, 1 Lab/Clinical)
This course focuses on reproductive health and the periods of pregnancy, labor and birth, postpartum, and the neonate. Person-centered care of both low and high risk perinatal populations will be integrated. This course prepares the professional nurse to integrate quality, safety, and evidenced-based practice into the complex healthcare systems of the childbearing family.
