GEOE 440 - Geological Engineering3 credits (Hrs: 2 Lec., 3 Lab) A study of the application of geology to engineering practice covering the characterization and engineering behavior of soil and rock, geologic site investigation, geologic hazards, and the influence of geology on various types of construction projects (particularly excavations, dams, and foundations).
Prerequisite(s): GEO 101 and EGEN 201 . Course generally offered 1st semester.
