OSH 454 - Ergonomics3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.) Provides the basic understanding of ergonomic considerations necessary to design tools, workstations, facilities, and systems to match human capabilities and limitations. Particular emphasis will be placed on analysis and reduction of upper extremities cumulative trauma disorders and hazards associated with manual material handling.
Prerequisite(s): Recommended Preparation BIOH 301/302 and BIOH 311/312 . Course generally offered 1st semester.
