Minimum Credits for a B.S. in Computer Science: 120
**Professional Electives can be used to complete one of the Focus Areas listed below.
- Entrepreneurship: Complete BMGT 448W , and take 6 credits from the following: ACTG 201 , ACTG 202 , BGEN 235 , BFIN 322 , BMKT 325W , BMGT 335W , BMKT 342 .
- Electronic Control Systems: Complete EELE 201 and take 6 credits from the following: EELE 202 , EELE 261 , EELE 465 , PHSX 322 , EELE 203 , EELE 320 , EELE 317 , GEOP 446 .
- Data Science: Take 9 credits from the following: CSCI 347 , CSCI 444 , STAT 432 , CSCI 447 , STAT 435 , STAT 453 , STAT 454 .
- Game Development: Take 9 credits from the following: CAPP 163 , CSCI 441 , CSCI 443 , CSCI 447 , CSCI 477 , CSCI 491 . (If MART 460 is taken from U of M or CSCI 204 is taken from MSU, these courses will count towards CSCI 491)
- Custom: Work with your advisor to determine 9 credits of coursework in your field of interest.
* Science electives must include two semesters of science with a lab (minimum of 6 credits total) with the exception of the physics sequence of PHSX 234 and 235/236. PHSX 234 combined with anything but 235/236 is not accepted. Science electives + free electives must total to 8 credits. Take the physics sequence for the Electronic Control Systems focus.
