NRSG 262 - Complex Care Needs of the Adult Client4 credits (Hrs: 2 Lec., 2 Clinical) This course prepares the student to provide nursing care to adult clients experiencing acutely changing conditions in settings where the outcome is less predictable. Emphasis is placed on the nurse’s response to emergent/life-threatening/rapidly changing conditions. Topics covered include collaborative therapeutic modalities related to acute/complex neurological, cardiac, respiratory, liver, endocrinologic events, shock, sepsis/SIRS, complex renal, pancreatic and biliary disorders.
Prerequisite(s): NRSG 140 , NRSG 142 , NRSG 144 , NRSG 265 .
