GEOE 403 - Structural Geology for Engineers3 credits (Hrs: 2 Lec., 3 Lab) The study of brittle and ductile deformation of the earth’s crust emphasizing the mechanics of formation of local and regional structural features. Laboratory work focuses on the solution of structural geology problems commonly encountered in the practice of engineering by mathematical, graphical, and stereonet methods.
Prerequisite(s): GEO 101 and EGEN 305 or GEO 101 and GEOP 225 . Course generally offered 2nd semester.
