BIOB 375 - General Genetics4 credits (Hrs: 4 Lec., 1 Lab) This course addresses classic Mendelian genetics, gene function, gene mutation, population genetics as well as recombinant DNA, PCR, and DNA fingerprinting. The laboratory component involves problem solving, demonstrating concepts of classical genetics and molecular genetics. There is a research component.
Prerequisite(s): BIOB 160 . Course generally offered 2nd semester.
