MIN 240 - Practical Underground Mining II1 credit A course designed for students who have completed MIN 140 to gain additional hands-on experience in performing and understanding the unit operations of traditional underground hard rock mining operations. Students will learn and demonstrate safe work inspections, geomechanic assessments and development of weekly work plans and the importance of document control for these safety checks. This course is intended for those students wishing to be considered as a TA for MIN 140 class.
