STAT 441 - Experimental Design3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.) Studies concepts and applications of the collection of data and proper design of experiments. Aspects of design, sampling principles, exploratory data analysis, confidence intervals and hypothesis testing and basic experimental designs will be taught. The importance of randomization, replication, and methods for reducing experimental error will be emphasized.
Prerequisite(s): STAT 131 or STAT 216 or STAT 332 . Course generally offered 1st semester.
