This exploration is assisted through the following Pre-Professional Health (PPH) courses. Physical Therapy
At the present time, the first professional degree in physical therapy is the Bachelor’s degree. Students can prepare for transfer to a school of physical therapy by following either the Biological Sciences Transfer Program or by following the first two years of the Applied Health Science option in Occupational Safety and Health. Students should be aware that a move is underway to change the first professional degree in physical therapy to the Doctoral level. When this occurs, the section on pre-medicine will be applicable to physical therapy. At that time, a Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy will not be required to enter a Doctoral-level program. Students should consult with schools of physical therapy to verify admission requirements at the time they plan to enter. |
