Mineral Project Management & Evaluation, Graduate Certificate

The Mineral Project Management & Evaluation Certificate will prepare students to fill supervisory roles within mining operations and studies. Students who complete this certificate will be able to conduct economic evaluations of mining projects from simple trade-off studies to feasibility studies for new operations and quantify the impact of uncertainty within the evaluation.

 

Students who complete the course will:

  • Understand the complex nature of management roles within the mining industry
  • Conduct economic evaluations of mining projects
  • Understand the differences required by level of evaluation, from simple trade-off studies to feasibility studies
  • Quantify the impact of uncertainty within the evaluation.

 

Pre-requisites: Bachelor degree in Engineering. Exceptions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
