The Environmental Management for Mining Certificate will prepare students for the environmental, societal and regulatory elements of a mine project, which present one of the largest risks with mine development, operation and closure. Graduates will be able to assess and compare the technical, legal, and societal feasibilities of various mine operational and decommissioning alternatives which could impact the environment or community.
Admissions Criteria: Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering fields. Exception will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
