Mineral Deposit Exploration, Graduate Certificate

The Mineral Deposit Exploration Certificate will prepare students and professionals to function effectively as mineral-exploration geologists, with an emphasis on critical mineral commodities.

Required Courses:

GEOE 511 - Ore Deposits 3 credits
GEOE 535 - Geochemistry in Mineral Exploration 3 credits
GEOE 512 - Geophysics in Mineral Exploration 3 credits
GEOE 595 - Mineral Exploration Practicum 1 credit

Total Credits Required for Certificate: 10

Admissions Criteria: Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering fields with Physical Geology class or equivalent. Any exception will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
