Educational Objectives

Our Graduates will: 

  • Demonstrate fundamental scientific and technical knowledge base and critical thinking skills.
  • Engage in lifelong learning related to the construction management profession.
  • Analyze, plan, develop, organize, and manage construction management projects.

 

Student Outcomes

  • An ability to identify, formulate, and solve broadly-defined technical or scientific problems by applying knowledge of mathematics, science, and/or technical topics relevant to construction management.
  • An ability to formulate or develop a system, process, procedure, or program to meet desired needs.
  • An ability to conduct experiments or test hypotheses, analyze and interpret data and use scientific judgment to draw conclusions.
  • An ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences.
  • An ability to understand ethical and professional responsibilities and the impact of technical and/or scientific solutions in economic, environmental, global, and societal contexts.
  • An ability to function effectively on teams that establish goals, plan tasks, analyze risks, and meet deadlines.
