OSH 3546 - Industrial Toxicology3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.) In this course, students will explore the effects that chemicals have on the human body and the environment. Topics include poisons, target organs, dose-response, routes of exposure, carcinogenesis, air pollution, and occupational applications.
Prerequisite(s): Pre- or co-requisite: BIOH 201/202 or BIOH 301/302 or BIOH 211/212 or BIOH 311/312 and a college chemistry course or consent of instructor. Course generally offered 1st semester.
