EENV 421 - Risk Analysis & Toxicology3 credits (Hrs: 2 Lec.) The course familiarize the student with the field of health risk assessment. Health risk assessment, hazard identification, dose response relationships of environmental toxicants especially toxic metals, their absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion; and evaluation of their toxicity and factors that influence toxicity, exposure assessment and risk characterization are some of the topics included in this course. The course involves computer modeling, project and class presentation.
Prerequisite(s): EENV 313 . Course generally offered 1st semester.
