CHMY 210 - Survey of Organic Chemistry with Biochemistry3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.)
An overview of the more important functional groups including nomenclature, physical properties and important type reactions are covered as well as environmental and organic chemistry. Nomenclature, physical properties and important reactions of lipids and biological membranes, carbohydrates, amino acids, peptides and proteins are covered.
Prerequisite(s): CHMY 143 or Course generally offered 2nd semester.
