OSH 3546 - Industrial Toxicology3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.) A course considering industrial toxicants such as chemicals, dusts, mists, fumes, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, and heat, their effects and mode of action on man. Dose-response relationships, residence time excretion rates and detoxification processes are considered. A survey of the literature is included.
Prerequisite(s): BIOH 311/312 ; and a college chemistry course or consent of instructor. Course generally offered 1st semester.
