M 194 - Freshman Seminar in Mathematics1 credit (Hrs: 1 Lec.) Provides an introduction to the study of modern mathematics, mathematics education, and statistics. Faculty and seniors in the math program will discuss their current research, undergraduate research topics and opportunities, important developments in modern mathematics, and job opportunities in the mathematical sciences. This course will be graded on a pass/fail basis.
Course generally offered 1st semester.
