PET 446 - Petroleum Project Evaluation3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.) The study of petroleum project evaluation from the standpoint of the underlying land ownership and contract obligations. Class study includes: conformance to regulations, designation of reserve types and estimation of the future production performance, cost estimating and price forecasting, cash flow analysis with consideration to the time value of money, oil and gas accounting methods and economic sensitivity and risk factors.
Prerequisite(s): EGEN 325 ; PET 404 . Course generally offered 2nd semester.
