NRSG 144 - Core Concepts of Mental Health Nursing2 credits (Hrs: 2 Didactic) This course will explore physiological, psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, and environmental factors associated with mental health and mental Illness. Focus will be placed on basic concepts of psychiatric nursing, therapeutic modalities, as well as psychiatric disorders including psychopharmacological management.
Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of semester one. Course generally offered 2nd semester.
