CHMY 121 - Introduction to General Chemistry

3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.)
A survey of general chemistry. Includes electronic structure, stoichiometry, chemical bonding, acids, bases, equilibrium, nuclear chemistry and kinetic theory. The CHMY 121- CHMY 122  -CHMY 123  sequence is designed for students preparing for careers in nursing and certain other health sciences. Prerequisite: One year of high school algebra or Corequisites of M 095  or higher MATH course. (1st)
