ENRG 503 - Mathematical Modeling of Energy Systems3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.) This course focuses on advanced mathematical and computational techniques for modeling energy systems. Topics include deterministic and stochastic modeling, optimization, numerical methods, and uncertainty analysis applied to energy generation, storage, and distribution systems. Students develop and validate models to predict system behavior, support design decisions, and inform research in complex, multidisciplinary energy systems.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Energy Engineering PhD program or consent of instructor.
