MIN 558 - Mine Management3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.) This course introduces students to the principles and practices of management within technical organizations, with a focus on mining operations. Participants will explore management and leadership challenges that impact productivity, examine organizational structures and cultures, and learn decision-making techniques and power dynamics relevant to the industry. The course also covers human resource management and the interpersonal and group dynamics essential for effective team performance in mining environments.
Prerequisite(s): Graduate Standing or Consent of Instructor.
