GEOE 513 - Ore Control and Modeling3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.) The Ore Control and Modeling course provides a foundation of ore control and material management principles and techniques. You will learn about applied geologic mapping and sampling within surface and underground mining settings, blasthole sampling and blast movement, geostatistics as applied to a production environment, and ore control optimization and reconciliation. The course will introduce ore control and geostatistical modeling software and technologies.
Prerequisite(s): Graduate Standing or Consent of Instructor.
