ENVE 540 - Laws, Regulations, and Mine Permitting3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.) This course explores the fundamentals and future trends in mine project permitting and the applicable and relevant laws which apply to a given mining project. Students will learn and apply technical knowledge to a mine permitting case study, evaluating processes for exploration and operation permitting.
Prerequisite(s): BS in Engineering, BS degree with technical experience, or approval by instructor.
