ETEC 101 - AC/DC Electronics

3 credits (Hrs: 1 Lec., 2 Lab)
This course introduces the foundational concepts of direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) electrical circuits. Students learn safe practices when working with electrical equipment, measure basic electrical quantities, analyze simple series and parallel circuits, and use common test instruments-including multimeters and oscilloscopes-to evaluate electrical systems. Topics include Ohm’s Law, electrical sources, circuit protection, basic components, and the differences between AC and DC behavior.
