EMEC 419 - Mechanics of Composite Materials

The course provides students a background in modern composite materials and how their usage differs from conventional materials. Students will be able to compute effective properties of composites, predict displacement/stress/strain of lamina and laminates under mechanical and hygrothermal loads. EGEN 305.
