WLDG 180 - Shielded Metal Arc Welding

This class will teach students the shielded metal arc welding process through classroom instruction followed by extensive hands on training in the welding lab. They will learn to weld F3 and F4 electrodes in all positions on fillet and groove welds. The students will work through a series of tasks that will develop their skills in all areas of the SMAW process.
