EMAT 354 - Physical Metallurgy Lab1 credit (Hrs: 1 Lec., 2 Lab) This is a continuation of Microstructural Interpretation but includes applications to ceramic and polymeric systems. Experiments are performed in heat treating, casting, working, and mechanical testing of materials. Evaluation and interpretation of the materials are incorporated. Laboratory safety is emphasized.
Prerequisite(s): EMAT 251 or EMAT 353 or EGEN 213 Course generally offered 2nd semester.
