EMEC 536 - Computational Fluid Dynamics

3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.)
This course is intended to be an introduction to the principles and practice of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) for the senior-level engineering student.  The students will develop a good understanding of CFD theory, the governing equations, and the computational solution techniques that can be used for the solution of many fluid dynamic problems.  The course will provide introductory-level knowledge to build upon and successfully develop and apply CFD models while understanding the limitations of the model used.

Prerequisite(s): (EGEN 324  or EMEC 320 ) and EGEN 335  and M 274 .
