EMEC 517 - Engine Design

3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.)

The course provides students a background in operating principles of the internal combustion engine. Students will be able to perform the necessary design calculations associated with engines including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer associated with the intake, combustion, and exhaust processes.
