M 140 - College Math for Healthcare3 credits This course is designed to provide students with a solid mathematical foundation necessary to succeed in a health care profession. This course will review algebra, systems of measurement, ratio and proportions, basic probability and statistics concepts, and ionic solutions and pH calculations. This course will apply mathematical reasoning and problem solving as it applies to the health care field and is a suitable prerequisite for STAT 216.
Prerequisite(s): M 105 , STAT 131 , STAT 216 or required test scores: ACT 22-23; SAT section score 550-570; ALEKS 46-60: or College Success 115-150. Co-Req M 191 required with test scores: ACT 18-19; SAT section score 480-510; ALEKS 14-29; or College Success 90-102.
