CHMY 430 - Environmental Organic Chemistry3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.) This course will examine how vapor pressure, solubility, partitioning, diffusion, sorption, reactivity, photochemistry, and biological processes affect the movement and distribution of organic chemicals introduced into the natural environment. The course will adapt a quantitative molecular understanding of these processes.
Prerequisite(s): CHMY 210 or CHMY 321 and CHMY 371 or Consent of Instructor. Course generally offered 1st semester.
