NRSG 313 - Mgmt of the Adult with Complex Health Alterations4 credits (Hrs: 2 Lec, 2 Lab) This course focuses on the continued development of nursing competence related to the planning and managing care for individuals and families with complex health alterations. The course emphasizes integration of physiological, psychological, and sociocultural concepts in nursing care of individuals with critical health conditions. Students incorporate evidence-based practice guidelines and interdisciplinary collaboration to maximize health outcomes including health promotion, maintenance and primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention. Comprehensive nursing care for patients with a wide range of disorders will be addressed.
