PSCI 250 - Introduction to Political Theory

3 credits (3 hrs Lec)

Critical exposition and analysis of the major concepts of political philosophy and political theory. Emphasis is placed on human nature and politics, the nature and role of the state in society, the forms of government, the nature of political obligation and authority, the role of freedom and equality in the state, the interaction of religion and politics, justice and power int he state, and visions of the good life and the good society.
