M 116 - Math for Health Careers3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.) This course prepares health science students for the math required in their profession. Topics include: inductive reasoning, logic, mathematical number systems; linear, quadratic, exponential, and logarithmic functions; graphing; probability; statistics; English Apothecary and Metric Systems and conversions; dosage calculations; and dimensional analysis.
Pre-requisite: M090, ACT 20, SAT 480, Compass score of 55.
