COMM 4556 - Persuasion3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.) Deals with the analysis of persuasive communication as a form of influence, the process and functions involved in persuasive communication, and persuasive communication potential and limitations for individuals and organizations. Focuses on the principles involved in influencing an audience with emphasis on the means by which speakers try to influence the attitudes, beliefs, values, and actions of others.
Prerequisite(s): COMX 111 or COMX 211 , or Consent of Instructor. Course generally offered 2nd semester.
